UK Fired a Trident Missile Towards Florida – Anti Media News

One of Britain’s Trident II D5 missiles, which could kill millions of people when armed with a nuclear warhead, experienced a spectacular failure after it was launched from the HMS Vengeance submarine off the coast of Florida.

The intended target was the ocean off Africa, but the missile headed toward America. This failed launch in June of last year was the first firing test of an unarmed nuclear missile in four years.

This serious malfunction should have been worldwide news back in June, but instead, it was covered up by Downing Street just prior to a Parliament vote on the future of the country’s nuclear program.

The Independent reports:

The wayward Trident missile was reportedly unarmed at the time of the malfunction, which occurred shortly after it was launched by the submarine HMS Vengeance off the coast of Florida last June. The Commons voted to renew the nuclear deterrent in July.

It was intended to be fired 5,600 miles to a sea target off the west coast of Africa but may have veered off towards America instead.

A source told the Sunday Times: “There was a major panic at the highest level of government and the military after the first test of our nuclear deterrent in four years ended in disastrous failure.”

In an interview today, as seen in the video below, UK Prime Minister Teresa May refused FOUR TIMES to tell the BBC’s Andrew Marr if she knew about the failed missile launch. Marr asked:

“Did you know that misfire had occurred?”

“Did you know that it had happened?”

“This is a very serious incident. Did you know about it?”

“Prime Minister, did you know?”

Teresa did not answer the question each of the four times. In the end, Marr gave up, saying: “I’m not going to get an answer.”

This gives us zero confidence in the reliability of Britain’s nuclear weapons system or on how open the U.K. government is on their program.
