Two New Hampshire residents were arrested last Saturday for dealing marijuana via a Burger King fast food restaurant drive-thru window.
Local Epping news quotes the Police Chief Mike Wallace,
We obtained enough evidence that pointed to the employee, Norris, was selling marijuana though the drive-through. It was substantiated with the with sting operation. We went in later that evening and arrested him and the shift manager
The two were arrested after police were tipped off and a sting was conducted. Don’t police, especially the police chief, have anything better to do? What a waste of taxpayer money. Regardless, this is still an interesting story…
Wallace said buyers would drive up to the window and ask for an employee named “Nasty Boy”. If he was there, the next step was to ask for your french fries “extra crispy”. The financial transaction was then conducted through the drive-thru window.
Supposedly, the weed was not included with the food but in a separate container and did not involve the restaurant owners or other employees.
The police chief also told local news,
We always heard rumors that employees were selling illicit drugs through some fast food restaurants. It was never substantiated until Saturday night.
Possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute was the charge against Norris. While Dearborn was charged with conspiracy to distribute a controlled drug and unlawful possession of alcohol. They are both on personal recognizance bail with arraignment scheduled for February 28th.
